The Keuka Arts Festival would like to announce they are sponsoring a Poster Contest to design their 2010 Keuka Arts Festival Poster. The poster contest is open to everyone.

The Keuka Arts Festival is a fine art and skilled craft show with an emphasis on representing our local cuisine with a fine selection of food vendors and wineries from the Finger Lakes Region. To be held annually along the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail (Boat Launch), only a few blocks from downtown Penn Yan, this year the festival will occur on June 12-13. The event is free and will feature live entertainment and activities for families.

All artwork should be original and previously unpublished and should reflect our mission statement which is: The Keuka Arts Festival is established to present an event of high quality, original artwork and entertainment for the enjoyment of our Keuka Lake area and Finger Lakes regional residents and visitors. Our ongoing mission is to foster community in Penn Yan and promote the nurturing and financial support of the local Arts.
Poster Size: Image area should be 12” X 18”, vertical layout. The design should be able to accommodate text, such as The Keuka Arts Festival and the festival date: JUNE 12-13, 2010.
All entries should be in completed and finished form, and the artist’s name and telephone number should be written on the back of the entry. Artwork should be signed but not matted.
All mediums will be considered: watercolor, photography, pen and ink, oil, collage, acrylics and digital image. If sending a digital image please mail it in a CD or DVD as a JPG. Files unable to be opened won’t be taken in consideration. No entries will be admitted via e-mail.
The deadline for poster entries is Feb. 12th with the winning poster being announced on Mar. 5th.

The winning poster artist will receive a choice of $100 OR a free booth spot in the 2010 Keuka Arts Festival; a copy of the finished poster, an invitation to the Friday Night Artist Reception, as well as being listed on the website and promotional material as the winning poster artist.
