Brian Donat

Brian Donat is a full time freelance cellist who moved to Rochester after ~10 years of living and working in the Adirondack region of NY. An alum of Houghton College and the Meadowmount School, he keeps busy by teaching privately and performing with anybody who will have him - orchestras, musicals, weddings, ballets, chamber concerts, choirs, churches, etc. Although listening to the strings may not make you dance, it will transport you to a relaxing comfort zone than can only enhance your mood. DT Benedict is a 1st grade teacher in Brighton and a former Penn Yan Academy jazz band member. Influenced by The Beatles, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, he likes to jam and improvise on his rhythm guitar with Grateful Dead being a favorite of his. He has played with After Hours and enjoys playing for friends. – Rock, Blues and Jazz
