Looking for volunteers

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

Dear Volunteer,

We are looking forward to another great Keuka Arts Festival this June 13 and 14 and hope that you can join us.

This year’s event will welcome 45 talented art vendors, several bands and our local wine and food vendors, along with a children’s entertainment area.  We will be looking for volunteers before and during the festival for things such as: setting up for the event on Friday evening, assisting with the children’s face painting and arts and crafts table and clean up.

If  you were there last year, you know how much fun it was to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Keuka Arts Festival and at the same time, support a local cause.  Thanks to a successful event last year, we are able to give a scholarship in the amount of $500.00 to a 2009 PYA graduating senior Art student who will be going on to further her education in the arts next fall.

I will be setting up a schedule of helpers for Friday before the event and Saturday/Sunday.  If you are interested in helping in anyway for the festival, please respond to this e-mail soon or give me a call at (315) 277-0619.

Thank  you.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Seeking donations

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

We are currently seeking donations to defer the expenses of the second annual Keuka Arts Festival and do feel the squeeze a bit.  Consequently, our sponsors will receive an added perk this year.  In addition to publicity on the marquee all weekend, we will surround the tennis courts with a sign a sponsor may wish to bring.  It’s a win-win situation for all of us; a donation to defray our expenses and double advertising for our generous sponsors.  Please consider getting on board for a great community event.  See you there!
